Our Story

YBP — Young Blacks Perspective is more than just a clothing brand. It’s a mindset, a vision, and a reflection of the real experiences of three young individuals who turned their pain, growth, and voices into something meaningful.

Isaac is a social light — outgoing, energetic, and always connected with people — until he faced a deep personal loss that dimmed that light. He struggled to cope and find peace. With the support of those closest to him, he learned that holding onto the pain wouldn’t help him grow. Now, he moves forward with a renewed sense of purpose and a path he’s building one step at a time.

Max is a creative visionary — an artist whose ideas were always meant to uplift others. His caring nature was his strength, but his impulsive decisions and naïve moments led to mistakes that began to define him. After taking accountability and growing from them, he now pushes himself to become better and continues using his creativity to help those around him.

Dakari started off quiet — a deep thinker whose voice of reason stayed mostly inside. It wasn’t fear that kept him silent, nor a lack of strength, but an unconscious habit of holding himself back. Over time, he realized the power in his own voice. Now, he speaks boldly, with thoughts and ideas that challenge, inspire, and uplift.

Together, these experiences created YBP — Young Blacks Perspective: a brand built from truth, pain, growth, and the determination to turn perspective into power.
